We’re locals here in Langkawi, and Dangau Langkawi has become a monthly tradition for our family. The food is consistently delicious, the ambience is warm and welcoming, and every visit feels special. After countless visits throughout the year, we can confidently say it’s worth every penny. Keep up the great work!

We really enjoyed this restaurant, just walking distance from the villa we were staying in. The staff were so friendly and welcoming (especially when we only spoke English). The coconut crab curry and the prawn noodles were delicious. We sat upstairs with a lovely breeze, overlooking the rice fields.

Went to experience local food while in Langkawi. Ordered a set and the grilled fish (especially yellow color) is so addicting, seems like cheese , kind of sweet and a bit salty hint. No language barrier all staff speaks English.
One thing to note is the place is quite far from the downtown and it is hard to get a grab from there. Advice to rent a motorbike or car. Luckily the reception staff helped us call a grab with his phone and found one.

Highly recommended if you want to have a good lunch of ‘lauk kampung’, with scenic view of paddy field under a nice hut. You need to order Set Talam Mahsuri (as per picture) cost RM250 if you want to sit at the hut. The set can serve about 5 pax. But you can also order others in the menu & sit at other spots which also offer good scenic view.
